Transcript of FastAlert - Creating a Channel

This is a video on how to create a channel using Fast Alert. To start, open up your internet browser and search Fast Alert or Fast Alert.now. After clicking on Fast Alert.now, you'll be brought to a screen reminding you to add this app to your home screen. To do so, you must click on the share icon either located in your browser or at the bottom of the screen. This will give you an option to add the app to your home screen. Now, using the app on the home screen, you can access Fast Alert. To create an account or access an existing one, you can click on the create your channel icon. If you're new to Fast Alert and don't have an account, you can make one here. If you have an existing account, you can press the back arrow to sign in. Let's add a channel by pressing the orange plus icon on the right side of the screen. When adding a channel, you create a channel name, include your phone number, decide whether you want to save sent messages, make the channel public, expire messages after a certain period of time, restrict the number of subscribers, give the channel an image and icon, as well as add a greeting and a channel description. Remember that this can all be edited at any time after the channel's creation. Congrats, you've made your first channel. By scrolling all the way to the right of the channel, you find a tab called actions with four different icons. In the top left corner, the share icon copies your channel's link to your keyboard. Moving to the right, the QR icon creates a QR code for your channel. The pencil icon allows you to edit your channel, and the X icon is used to delete channels. Creating a channel is that easy. Now you're ready to connect with your audience and keep them updated on the alerts that matter.
