Transcript of Study in Saudi portal 2025: All about the portal w/ submission process [step by step w/ EXPLANATION]

before we get into the video a quick reminder we provide the latest up-to-date important news regarding study opportunities in Saudi Arabia don't forget to subscribe to our channels the links can be found in the description of this video finally the admission portal study in Saudi Arabia has been opened which means that now you can submit an application to study in Saudi Arabia whether it's Mecca or Medina or any other city and this is why I'm making this this video because in this video step by step I will show you how to submit a perfect application inshallah that's free of any mistakes so follow this video and inshallah we'll get through the process together and as you can see there are two application periods for those who apply from outside of Saudi Arabia the very first one is for those who are aiming uh to land a scholarship or maybe just general study in bachelor studies university stage it's it's stage it starts from May the 1st all the way to June 14th but if you're aiming to get accepted for the mast's program or PhD then you have you can apply for May the 1st all the way to October 31st 2025 and before we get into this video before I show you step by step what you can what you need to do to submit this application and where I will highlight the most important details that you should keep in mind when you apply i want to draw your attention to the fact that I put together a PDF file that's called frequently asked questions study in Saudi where I compiled all the answers all the most frequent questions that I get asked so if you have any questions please feel free to visit this file first because it has 99 95% of the answers to all your questions for example let's say you want to know how the admission process goes when you're going to get get accepted you just go to this file and get the answer or let's say you get accepted how can you defer the study or let's say you get married and now you want to bring your family is it possible is it not what are the ways to bring your family all these questions alhamdulillah I tried my best to cover in this file and this is all based on my experience and the experience of other students so alhamdulillah together a certain PDF file accordingly to my plan that I provided them with and you can see you know some details about certain universities so yeah that's amazing alhamdulillah now let's get started with our with our application i'm going to show you step by step how to to submit the application first of all we go to the website study in Saudi this is the official website we go to login and create a new account before I started making this video recording this video I set up an email okay here we go national ID ID other we go straight to other because national ID is for Saudi citizens ID for the residents have residency in Saudi Arabia so we go to other because you're applying from outside of Saudi Arabia i guess here they are asking us requiring us to provide the email this is the email that I made before I started making I had made before I started making this video nationality okay let's put Britain as a nationality is fine united States of America there's a whole list you just go through this you can just type Russia for example and here we go russia britain there's no United Kingdom just pay attention the United States but there's no United Kingdom just go to Britain if you're applying from the UK uh capture that's case sensitive next now they're asking us to provide our full name English name it's enough to provide your name just in English you don't have to provide it in Arabic but if you want to do that it's fine my name is Maddie my last name is Msurov i was born and raised in Kazakhstan and you know it just happened in life that some of my family moved to Canada etc anyways Arabic name I can provide I can I I don't have to do that but just you know mahi mur and here they're asking for the father's name and grandfather's name you have to provide it you cannot even leave anything just like a symbol so I would advise you to actually write the name of your father i'm going to make it up i would say Abu Bakr and Omar for example and here we go keep going i am a male if you're female obviously you're a female date of birth i'm going to make up some date let's say I was born January the 1st 2000 okay mobile number first we put two zeros which means plus and let's say if you are from the UK then you go 44 if you're from the United States you start with one or Canada um yeah let me just make up some number i just made it up and now if I click next I'm going to go next but I'm going to show you what's going to happen if you don't put the your grandfather's name or father's name it says field father's name is in in English is mandatory so you have to apply you have to provide it and you cannot even put a dash or something you can put none but you know it doesn't seem right so we just put the name of your father it's totally fine next now they are trying to verify our email so we click on the email and then we go next registration data just OTP that's in our email just give it a second is going to come ne did need it verification code sent to email yes okay here we go we got the number this ads so bad save here we go now we verified our account we go back to our email and they're going to send us the link so we could set the password just a few seconds and they're going to send it inshallah here we go we click on set the password link and now we are required to come up with a password and that's it now we can use the login and the password the login details to login let me click on the login button let me just use the yes the email yeah I've been doing that like 100 times so subhan Allah different portals dul it took us to some other website we don't need this we just get back to study in Saudi and now we clock on the login oh fine before before I logged in on Okay one second okay now we're logged in it doesn't allow us to just agree we have to click on the privacy note first allegedly we're supposed to read it well last year it was working it was a whole PDF file with some information anyways agree i think nobody reads it except for very rare cases it's the very first day of the portal opening so I guess it's going to be lagging a little bit so let's have some patience i clicked on the agree button just a little okay here we go you see this this PDF file was yeah if you want to read it uh yeah you can read it of course and now please let me go usually it goes like within within a second you just click on the agree button and it allows you to go okay I'll just edit the video because we don't need to make it too long okay here we go now we just scroll a little bit down apply to study now and this is when the whole process is getting started go to more profile so meaning that you have to set up your profile first provide the basic information and then you can apply and by the way I don't know if I mentioned before but they changed it so much in this year allah they made it so much more convenient i love it here we go profile setup the very first step is called the personal details where you provide your nationality here they have United Kingdom yes here it is place of birth i'm making up data i wasn't born in London um I was born and raised in Kazakhstan i'm proud of it united Kingdom social status married so basic information you don't even need to be a genius to figure out what you need to do disability status if you if you don't have any disabilities good if you don't have any then you just click on the exist button and then you just specify what's what's happening do you have impairment visual hearing impairment mental issues etc down syndrome autism other so I'm going to keep it non-existent personal picture okay this is a very good one because many people get confused they don't they won't believe but some people they just send a picture where they're like in the masjid with other people just a nice p picture a picture of himself with a family which is quite funny uh I don't mean to make fun of anybody but this is the application they don't want to see those kind of things they want to see uh so they want to see a picture like this straightforward white background passport type photo as ideally it should be 4x6 the ratio and I made a whole post about this photo what it's supposed to look like you just go to a photo center ask them to make a photo that's going to be good for for the passport and you just use the same photo for this application this is me in 2015 i submitted this photo and I got accepted in 2020 alhamdulillah but I applied in 2017 so we just choose a photo this is me it's not supposed to be more than 100 kilobytes which is a little bit surprising if you have an issue with that if your photo is too large you can compress it an unexpected error occurred while saving just do it again i already did oh yeah i mean just happens see on the third time it just happened still there are certain errors in this on this portal so here we go the password number i'm making stuff up passport full name the second name third name you don't need to do anything type of password i mean you can put a dash we'll get we'll get to that inshallah if if if it doesn't allow us to go to the next page we'll just put dash in it we'll get to that i want to draw your attention to these things type of passport normal passport issue place again I'm making stuff up united Kingdom passport issue date i'm going to pretend that I got in 2023 and it expires in 2028 copy of Passport and by the way yes the the folder is supposed to be JPEG this is what's supposed to be not PDF nothing else jpeg is the best JPEG JPEG GIF i wouldn't I wouldn't advise you to do that just use stick to JPEG copy of passport it's best to provide in PDF i went to the admission of registration the Indian admission registration Islamic University and I asked specifically I asked a bunch of questions i asked this question that what do you prefer do you prefer PDF or do you prefer JPEG they said for the photos it's supposed to be JPEG but for other documents we actually prefer PDF file it's so much better so much easier to work with so use PDF format if you if all your documents are in JPEG you just go to I love PDF.com and then you can just convert your JPEG to PDF it's easy if your PDF file is too large you can compress it it's a very very very useful tool okay we wait a little bit until it's until it's downloaded or uploaded okay again an expected error occurred while this was happening and also as you can see I used different symbols just to show you that now they fixed those errors and then you can use files with different symbols and still going to be fine come on subhan Allah i submitted an application just an hour ago it was working perfectly well there was no error i was actually surprised i was pleased um yeah but now the errors are occurring things happen you know we we love some difficulties in life because that's how we get stronger and more patient okay let's just wait a little bit i don't know i think I'm going to edit this video for sure maybe I should leave these kind of things so you see that it's normal if it if it's taking longer than it's supposed to okay in the meantime what information can I provide you so we don't waste any time okay there's a chance that it won't allow us to go further save and continue because we didn't put the second and the third name in this case we will need to put a dash in it but if you put a dash in it directly come on if you if you put a dash directly into it yeah okay it's not going to happen this is why what we usually do we just put a dash in here and then we just copy it and then just paste it in these two sections some of the data this phase is not mandatory and can be filled in at a later phase however this information must be completed after initial approval to complete the application and approval process so yes there are certain documents that you don't have to provide anymore at the application stage for example the police clearing certificate you don't have to apply it you don't have to provide it okay let me just try this one okay let me just try to go with the photo which is JPEG maybe it will go smoothly this time no no what are you doing yeah alhamdulillah i clicked on save and continue obviously didn't go me to this hub with the dash ctrl V just pasted it and let me just try this okay now it worked alhamdulillah so we can just click save and continue and let me just show you just just show you okay that you can actually use you can use the file that has certain symbols and it's still going to be fine see save and continue basic information where you are from i'll just say London london london but obviously you put the the real the real data and again I'm just making stuff up x previously Twitter if you have an account make sure that you put it in here if it doesn't exist non-exist but even if you don't have it I would still advise you to make it and put it in here you know so that your application looks complete as as much as possible especially this one you know you can put your profile and it has all your credentials and that's amazing mobile number let's say you are from the from the UK right you just go to select and then you have to choose your region it's all in Arabic but perhaps you can read in Arabic because you're a Muslim alhamdulillah if you're from the UK from the from Germany here we go and then I'm just coming up with a bunch of numbers so this is my mobile number in the UK allegedly additional data are you an employee if you are an employee you click yes and then you can say what's your job and what's the name of the company i don't know how it affects the application i don't I don't understand why but perhaps if you apply for the for the PhD and you work for Google and you want to apply for the computer sciences then you know it's going to positively affect your application but if you're just applying for Islamic University of Medina it's not going to make any difference let's say I'm an employee i'll just say I will say Imam but let's say I'm just a Quran teacher just making it up right company name Mazjid assam the reason for wanting to study in Saudi Arabia this one is important please keep in mind that many people as I've noticed through other years they put they put something interesting in this section they say like oh if I get to study in Saudi Arabia I will get to benefit from the teachers i will get to memorize more Quran i will get to learn the Arabic language it's kind of selfish there's lots of I I'm going to get this i'm going to get that obviously they they know that you're going to get all these benefits but they're more interested in what you're going to provide for the Islamic community or for the just community in general or even from maybe for the university where you're going to be studying so let's say you want to apply for Islam University Medina which is the most which is the case in most of your applications then I will say that if I get accepted I have a strong proclivity to teach others and you know so you basically you you put out there what you're going to do in return how you going to use the education to bring some to contribute to the society to the Muslim community where you're staying and it allows you to put a thousand even more symbols you can make a you can make very long but my advice don't make it very long just use bullet points if I get accepted I will and then you just do like one and then you just go like with this with with the reason what you're going to do with what you're going to do two three four that's it then I would advise you to also provide the same text in Arabic because not All not all admission officers speak good English they might not understand what you're saying but everybody speaks Arabic so you know use this um make this make a bit of advantage for yourself by providing this in two languages perhaps it's best to start with a language with the Arabic language and then no actually it's best to start with the language you speak and then just translate it into Arabic save and continue okay okay what did they not provide oh okay non-existent non-existent i forgot to put it in there save and continue previous data have you ever been a resident of Saudi Arabia no probably have never been a resident reference data they put this you know this information icon but nothing's showing up in the previous Oh wait a second maybe I just Oh okay person's reference to be contacted when needed to verify student data so this is this is what you this is what you uh do you provide I don't know maybe it's it's um the data of somebody who is your who's your teacher at at school or maybe as a last resort you can just put the data of your parents so they're getting contact with your parents and then they can I don't know verify whatever data you provided it's a little bit it's a little bit what do you call like it's not clear what exactly like they're expecting us to provide but in this case I would just advise you to provide the number and the address or maybe the the email of your teacher so they can contact because the mail the main data that they would be interested in to verify is your certificate university certificate high school certificate diploma Right so you put just their data in here that's what I would do and that's what you should do if you don't have that there's no way you can get it you graduated four years ago and then the teacher is not working anymore all the principles and everything changed then you just put the number of your parent that's what I would do additional data you don't have to put it in there and by the way this is also not obligatory you can just skip it annual income if you're coming from I mean if you apply for a scholarship I I don't think it matters but if you apply for a PhD or something you might put the annual income of yourself or let's say you're not working you're a high school student that just graduated you can still put annual income more than $10,000 if you're applying for the study and you're willing to pay a fee and you can just say support for my family but you know if you're applying for Islamic University of Medina for example I would just keep it blank to be honest that's it and have you received a previous scholarship in Saudi Arabia I will say no save and continue just let me reiterate if you're applying for Islamic University Medina for a scholarship for a scholarship Islamic University Medina or any other university for a scholarship I would keep it blank but if you are willing to pay for your studies then of course it's best to show that you have income you're willing to pay and there support from your family they will pay for everything this is this is good some University of Medina doesn't provide any uh any study on a paid basis it's only scholarships but other universities they do provide study on a beta basis meaning that you will pay the tuition okay i've never got a scholarship in Saudi Arabia save and continue uh sorry this video is going to be a little bit long but I'm trying to cover all the questions that people can possibly ask me qualifications and attachment this is the most important one this is where you put your credentials if you want to study for okay let's go start with the very big first one academic qualification data there is no data added currently but we need to add it so let's add it let's say you want to study for the bachelor studies then you at least should have you should at least should have high school not higher diploma not diploma but high school please don't click on higher diploma higher diploma is something you get after you get a bachelor studies so you graduated from high school good you put high school place of qualification i will say that it was the UK United Kingdom it's somewhere in the Yes here we go united Kingdom graduation date i will make it up that I graduated in May the 1st 2021 school name London High School government I mean school type government or private school if you went to a private school you just choose private if you went to government school the public school just go to the government gpa you can say for example aid excellent that was your GPA or you can even convert it solely up to you but just make sure that you put that is is it excellent is it very good is it you know it's what type is it because different countries they have different scales I know countries where it's like on the scale from zero to 40 like what what kind of scale is that but they do that copy of qualification so here you provide your high school diploma I'm just making up and then you provide the translation of that diploma into Arabic so it's supposed to be let's say it's testim and now I'm providing translation of this document it's the actual translation into Arabic this is the original language and this is the translation into Arabic of the same document grades transcript meaning that there is a separate page where you have your grades indicated and the translation of that transcript into Arabic as I mentioned not everybody speaks English especially amongst Arabs and some of them do speak English but their English is not that good this is why it's important to provide the translation into Arabic okay finally so I gave you some time I logged out i logged in then I did some other things i didn't want to waste any time and then after some time it just allowed me to easily apply and upload all the documents so now I'm clicking add and here we go this is my high school United Kingdom GPA 8 etc if you have more qualification data let's say you have a bachelor's degree you can choose the bachelor degree and if it's your last qualification you click on the last qualification you provide the rest of the data i think it's almost the same i don't know if it's going to allow me to upload all the documents just like before it seems like the the portal subhan Allah so this page you're going to have to I don't know maybe they'll fix it inshallah but if they don't you will have to spend some time but it's doable you know have to log out give it some time just do it again in in 20 30 minutes and it's going to eventually allow you to do that so this is academic qualification data languages data meaning that you will provide information of the languages that you speak English language if it's if you're native then you just click yes and then you just add it let's say you speak other languages Spanish Chinese Indonesian Italian other for example I speak Russian are you native i can say yes I'm native here we go languages data maybe you know what's surprising that there is no Arabic language so you have to click other oh you already have this language before so you have to only choose one language one other language that you speak let's say you speak Arabic even a little bit you go all the way to other and then you just say Arabic i'm not native in Arabic but my level is and you can choose beginner intermediate advanced and then you can even provide a certificate that you actually speak the language i mean maybe it's maybe it's the medina course it's really good to provide Arabic language certificates you don't have to but if it exists it's best to provided that to prove that you actually speak the Arabic language to an extent and then you can use other language that you speak or there's Russian language udu Chinese etc add and here we go to other attachments i can tell you that it is not mandatory anymore to provide these documents for example the police certificate you can just save and continue but obviously it's it's best to provide all the documents even including this police certificate document let's just go what's required let's just go through what's required to to be attached so here we go certificate of freedom from security records meaning that you don't have any convictions medical report and also they're provided in the original language and in Arabic language the same with the medical report recommendation recommendation letter if you're applying for the for the Islamic studies it's best to provide this gi recommendation letter from an imam from a graduate of Saudi from some Islamic figure if you're applying for the scientific faculty for scientific faculty then it's best to provide something from the place of study where you studied maybe from your chemistry teacher if you're applying for chemistry maybe it's physics maybe it is engineering then obviously you should get some recommendation letter from a math teacher etc this is what's about so depending it depends on depending on what type of study you're pursuing you will get a certain recommendation cv CV it is not obligation pro provided as I've said but it is good to do that cv um so basically provided preferably in two languages in the original language and also in the language that Arabs speak which is the Arabic language this is this is the best way to go about it in this CV again you have to keep in mind what you're applying for if you're applying for the Islamic studies then your CV should be about your Islamic side of life if you're applying for the scientific faculty then should be in that area this test is something that you don't have to apply it is called if I'm not mistaken it is for Saudi citizens mostly so you don't need it and here's another one which is called other basically all the other documents that can help you to land a scholarship you can compile all of them in one PDF file and and just attach it in this section let's say you are Islam you are convert you converted to Islam it's always best to provide a certificate of conversion if you are aiming for the Islamic studies let's say you have certain achievements significant achievements you also add them to this other PDF file if it's in English preferably you should provide the translation of that because I'm not exaggerating many many many workers especially in the universities admission workers they don't speak English it won't tell them anything if you just you know attach your certificate in your language let alone other languages so it's always best to provide the translation for these for these documents okay I think that's clear so these documents are not obligatory but you know it's best to provide them but once you land an initial initial acceptance keep it in mind please once you land an initial acceptance this is when you must provide these documents that you don't have any convictions that your health is good recommendation I mean if you land an initial acceptance you don't have to provide recommendation later you provide you should provide it now right now because they will consider your application along with the CV and other documents but other than that meaning that the medical report and the police certificate you can provide it after you landed the initial acceptance but as I mentioned it's always best to provide the all the documents in the beginning so that you have the full package of the documents save and continue okay we set up the profile now we can apply for the actual study and they change it completely you cannot apply a new application because there is an application already submitted for the same passport okay then I have to go back by the way this is why you cannot make few accounts a few accounts or several accounts some people they they think oh what if I make 10 accounts and apply submit 10 applications will it increase my chances i I get this kind of questions i want to apply with two accounts three accounts you won't be able to do that because your passport number as you can see is linked to your account and you only have one password so you'll be only be able to submit one application i'm going to change it to a different number save and continue save and continue save and continue let me just see is it going to give me a headache this time or is it going to be fine let's just check it oh okay you see now it's all good you just add it like this PDF file don't forget add sometimes it just goes easily and sometimes it causes so much so much drama anyways let me just keep going okay now I'm going to apply for the actual program okay here we go now we're actually going to apply to submit the application to certain universities we go to this page we agree with the pledge required academic degree well this is where you choose what you want in our case it's going to be bachelor degree if you want the master's program you choose master's degree or PhD but we're going to dwell on the bachelor program and now we can choose three universities you can choose up to three universities and in each university you can choose three faculties i'm going to assume that you are applying for the Islamic faculties just you know to show you and we make our first choice let it be Islamic University of Medina and mind you that the priority is going to be given to the university that you chose first so meaning that it goes in the priority that you chose so the very first going to be the Islamic University of Medina it has nine faculties for some reason it doesn't have the institute of the Arabic language meaning that if you don't speak Arabic you need to learn it right before you join the faculty of Sharia for example they don't have this choice therefore I'm going to choose three faculties directly but obviously if you get accepted for one of these three faculties you will start your studies with the Institute of the Arabic Language before you join any faculty it it goes without saying there's no doubt in it but if in the future they give you a choice over here to choose the Institute of the Arabic language instead of the college of Shar for example then you go for that if you don't speak Arabic yes that's how it goes and also another thing that I wanted to draw your attention to is that it's saying notice the student will be given the full benefits of the scholarship program excluding meaning that you won't be provided the accommodation this is shocking when I saw it just now because many people they they they don't have the means to you know to rent a place or something that's why I'm going to go to the dinerboard mission registration inshallah and inquire about this note about this notice and obviously I will put it on my telegram channel inshallah so if you follow it you will find the answer for now I don't have the answer what what does it even mean actually are they actually going to accept somebody not providing the accommodation I know that they have such pro problem within the last four or five years they've accepted a big number of students and now they face this problem when when they where they don't have enough housing to accommodate for everybody maybe this is why they decided to go with such an option Allaham anyways let's just make our our choice make up our mind it's going to be holy Quran for example if you memorize the Quran hadith and so I chose my three faculties that's it you cannot I cannot choose anymore if I choose four faculties it's going to tell me that hey you have to select maximum three colleges only so this is why I'm going to remove one of them for example college of Sharia and then just keep going okay we made our first ch first first choice it even indicates over here please list your desires in order of priority and you you'll be able to select up to three colleges in each university so you can only choose three faculties in one university okay let's make our first second choice let it be because I know that many of you are dreaming to study in Mecca i want to pay draw your attention to the fact that it has a huge number of faculties the university itself has 80,000 students because the university is not just in Mecca it has branches in Saudi Arabia okay we have so many faculties but then we see that they require you to pay a fee this one is 19,000 real this one is 9,500 real is it for one semester is it for the whole year i don't know i I sent I sent three people to the ginship to find out certain information to get certain information and it didn't work out they're unfortunately very uncommunicative they didn't provide that information that therefore I don't have the the accurate information but in once I find out is usually I will just post it on my telegram channel another thing that I want to draw attention to is that okay these are the types of study that require you to pay 1,120,000 real etc but once you go all the way down and you scroll down for like 80% of the content you can see that there is a type of study where they don't require you to pay anything so this is the scholarship inshallah this is what I think this is where the scholarship you can find the scholarship if you don't want to pay for the study and they have Islamic faculties that provide scholarships you can see college of social not this one college of dawa and fundamentals of religion here's another college of da and fundamentals of religion what's the difference between them the difference is that this one has a department of Quran and this one has a department of so if you are if you if you aiming for the studies then you should choose this one if you're aiming for the sunnah studies you chose for this one you choose this one and the Islamic culture this one you just go through this list and whatever you're interested in you just choose that and inshallah you you will make up your mind you will choose three faculties and then you just save it that was our second choice and the third cho choice let it be let it be let it be Islamic University of Imam it it's a strong Islamic university in Riyad and as you know there's so many scholars in Riyad it's not just me and they only provide it seems that they only provide scholarships so this is why you just scroll through the faculties and you see what they are offering i'm pretty much sure that this particular university they had this institute of the Arabic language okay it says institute for teaching Arabic language but I don't think this is for the non Arabic speakers are allowed oh okay this is I think the one okay let me just do this institute for teaching Arabic language allah I don't know to be honest anyways I believe this is the first choice institute for teaching Arabic language if you don't speak the language you choose this one and then once you finish the institute of the Arabic language you can go for the faculty but I would advise you to choose this one as the first option if you don't speak Arabic obviously and then also choose the faculty of Sharia for example okay let's go maybe they have a faculty of Quran obviously they have a faculty of Quran but on the list is it on the list should be let me go for that one i know that it's here college of Business College of Science oh College of Fundamentals of Religion this is a This is fundamentals of religion so I'm going to choose this one okay i made my I made up my mind safe here we go we add three un We added three universities university of Medina and Islamic University of Imam Muhammad ibn Zud the very the first ruler of Saudi Arabia the very first state anyways we made our choice once we made our choice we we don't just leave it like this we go to the end and we just send just send our application are you sure to send your study request if you say yes continue that's it you send it you send your application you cannot change anything you cannot change anything that's it it's your request has been successfully submitted request number followup request status so that's it you apply your status in in progress at the moment if you want to see the details which university which university is accepting you or rejecting you you just click on this number and it tells you Islam University Medina in progress woman University in progress imam Muhammad in progress that's how it goes so basically this is how you apply and you just keep access to this to this account on your study in Saudi uh portal and also please keep your access to the email if something happens you know they send the emails to your to your email that's it and obviously I will keep you updated had a different way of application this year they've changed it completely certain documents are not require required anymore like birth certificate for example or the documents of your parents it's not required anymore as for the application process I showed it to you step by step so hopefully it's going to be beneficial bye-bye
