Video Transcript:

hey guys today I'm going to show you how to add social share buttons to your framer website with the frame share plugin so as you can see here we have a blog post and just below the title we've inserted a couple of share buttons for Facebook X LinkedIn and WhatsApp let's open the website in the browser so I can show you how it works so when you click on it it automatically opens the current page in X for example let me show you how to do this so first you'll need to open the frame share plugin you can click on the plugin icon and search for it once the plugin is open you'll need to get a license key and activate it just click the purchase here button and it'll take you to the FrameShare website at framesshare.social i'll leave the link in the description and just buy the plugin from there once this is done you'll receive an email with a license key paste it into the plugins home screen to activate it okay now you're all set as you can see there are over 20 buttons you can pick from it includes the most popular social media platforms from Facebook to LinkedIn and WhatsApp to add the buttons to your site you just need to pick a button and drag it into the Canva exactly where you want to display you can add as many buttons as you want for this example we'll use Facebook X LinkedIn and WhatsApp now that we have the buttons where we want them we can go to the panel on the right hand side to customize each button so it matches the design of our website for each button you can change the icon the icon size the button size the style of the button the color and the radius of the button in our example we want to use the outline version of the buttons and we don't want to use the brand colors so we're going to change it to our primary color style and finally we're going to change the radius to 32 pixels to make it a round button i think it looks much better like this now we just need to apply the same changes to all the other buttons one by one i'll speed up the video a bit because we're making the exact same changes as for the first button and that's it we've got allout social share buttons looking exactly the same as you can see every button comes with an icon by default but I'm not super happy with the LinkedIn icon after rounding the corners so I'm just going to upload my own SVG icon that I found online i just need to upload it from my computer it's that simple yeah that looks better now so in our example we've been adding these buttons to a CMS page which means that all our blog post will include these icons but these buttons will work on any pages on your website to save time and keep consistency across your website you can add the buttons to a stack to build your own widget and use it on any page on your website thanks for watching the link to the plugin is in the description below or search for frame share on the framer marketplace
