When you read this passage, The scene at that time was actually a court scene, That is, he saw a judgment seat in heaven, This throne of judgment is very majestic. God is like a majestic judge, His raiment and hair revealed an air of holiness and majesty. All God has to do is judge. What will God judge? God will judge those monsters and the little horn that speaks big words; That signifies God's judgment upon the nations and the last tyrant. Show us these rising nations from here, God will judge them too in the future. So "Daniel 7:10a" records: 『10 Out of his presence came fire like a river; Thousands and thousands have served him, and tens of thousands have stood before him;” This is the throne of the living God in heaven. There are angels around to execute the judgment. This trial scene, Years later, the Apostle John also saw it in a vision in the Book of Revelation; Tens of thousands of angels surround the throne of God. See Daniel 7:10b: "He sits to judge, and the books are opened." 』 Regarding this case file, Courts throughout the ancient world kept records of daily activities and happenings. So the behavior of this beast/king is recorded. When God sits in judgment, Opening the case file is to provide evidence. In fact, we all know the Bible, Before the throne of God, there is His book. The Bible mentions that we have the book of life, Records the names of those who serve the gods. Especially if you read Revelation, Whoever whose name is not written in the book of life, will be cast into the lake of fire. All saved believers must have their names written in the book of life. Jesus Christ wrote our names in the book of life with His blood, Because we are saved by grace. God still has a memory book, Record the service and good deeds of the saints in their lives. God also has a record book, which records the sins of the world. These are all in the book of God. Of course Christians will stand before the judgment seat of God, All crimes have been dropped, no more convictions. But our service to the Lord in life, Whether to make good use of the gifts, talents, and abilities God has given us, We are to give an account to the Lord. Are we the ones entrusted with the five talents? Two thousand? Or a thousand? These talents, opportunities, abilities, God has given us, How do we use it? In the future, we will come to give an account at the judgment seat of Christ. What is being said here is that God will judge the kings of the nations, They are to give an account of their actions to God. So here is talking about God's judgment on them, This has nothing to do with the judgment of believers. See Daniel 7:11: 『11 Then I looked, and saw the beast slain for the sound of the little horn, The body was damaged and thrown into the fire to be burned. 』 Daniel saw their end first. Earlier he saw the horror of the little horn, Now he sees the ending of the little horn. This is Daniel's seventh viewing, He saw that the fourth beast continued to spout arrogant and blasphemous words. I said before you should pay attention, Daniel in the whole vision, Constantly watching with his eyes, Because the same thing happens again and again. What did he see before? small corner. What do you see now? The little horn is judged. Therefore, his eyes are too dazzled to see; He watched everything that happened very engrossed. By the time of the eighth viewing, He saw the little horn thrown into the fire; This is the eighth watch, The Chinese Bible does not translate "I saw" Chinese translation is for elegant and accessible literary expression, Therefore, "I saw" was not written into the scriptures, So the original text has "I saw" in verse 11, ""I saw" the body mutilated, thrown into the fire and burned. 』 That was the end of Little Horn. See Daniel 7:12: 『12 As for the rest of the beasts, their power was taken away, but their life remained, until the appointed time and date. 』 What does this sentence mean? The last little horn perishes. But the scriptures say: "For the rest of the beasts, their power was taken away, but their life remained,..." In fact, everyone must understand, The rest of the "beasts" here are plural; It means that the authority of Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece has long been taken away. theseThe family has already perished, But their lives remain; Because their people were snatched by the victorious country. These peoples were mixed with the races of the victorious nations, until the appointed end, That is, each was swallowed up by the victors, And finally replaced by the Kingdom of God, This happened at the end of the catastrophe. My simple instructions: When Babylon was destroyed, the Babylonians were still there. When Medo-Persia rose up and then disappeared, the Medo-Persians were still there. When Greece rises and then Greece dies, the Greeks are still there. When the Roman Empire rose, the Roman Empire declined, and the Romans remained. But when the little horn of the future-the last empire rises, Then when she was wiped out, all of them were wiped out. Understand? This is a matter of hierarchy. This tells us that the future judgment of the little horn is the last judgment, It means that the whole history has come to the end. Now is not the end, So those three beasts are in the process of history. But in the end, when the last empire rises, And when she too was destroyed, The history of mankind will be over; And the kingdom of God has come. This is what verse 12 says. So the territory of Babylon was given to Persia, The people of Babylon continue to live; When Macedonia conquered Persia and Rome conquered Macedonia, The people of the conquered country were not wiped out. But when the power of the little horn is finally destroyed, The kingdom of man in the world is over, become the kingdom of God. So you see how history unfolds. We see that history has progressed to the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire is basically gone, right? The Roman Empire today is not a big empire anymore, Just one of many countries, The Roman Empire is over. When will the last empire rise? we do not know. When does the little horn appear? We don't know either. When will the ten kings appear? We may not be able to see clearly yet, but we'll see. History continues to develop, slowly you will see, Suddenly there will be a rise that continues the Roman map. Biblical end-time prophecy mentions: This judgment follows the annihilation of the Antichrist against the kingdom of God, That is, it will be executed at the end of the tribulation period and before the establishment of the kingdom of the Son of Man. Therefore, judgment is executed first, and then the kingdom of God is established. Let's review again, The focus of the trial is: ● Destruction of the fourth monster, ● Secular authority is also destroyed; ● Prelude to the Kingdom of the Son of Man; This is what will happen when the Son of Man takes over the kingdom. Next, let's look at what Daniel saw? Daniel saw the vision of the Son of Man, See Daniel 7:13: 『13 I saw in visions at night, and I saw one like the Son of Man, came with the clouds of heaven, and was brought up before the Ancient of Days,' Here Daniel sees one like the Son of Man, Daniel "saw" again, for the ninth time, He saw one like a Son of Man come down from heaven, was brought before the Ancient of Days. Why was he brought before the Ancient of Days? Accept God's authority over His kingdom, and establish an eternal kingdom. An important fact is marked here, God's judgment removes worldly powers on earth; Immediately afterwards he gave authority to the Son of Man who came with the clouds, To enable him to establish the kingdom of God. After God has judged the beasts, The Son of Man appeared, Accept the authority and glory that God has given you. In the future, people from all nations and races in the world will serve Him, His power and kingdom will endure forever. Now the question is: Who is this "Son of Man"? There are several interpretations, Some say that the "Son of Man" is God's chosen people; Some say the "Son of Man" is a human being. Some say the "Son of Man" is an angel, Others say that the "Son of Man" is the Messiah. We're going to put it in context, We must understand the words from the whole Bible and from all angles, Actually only one answer is correct, That is, the "Son of Man" is the Messiah. The “Son of Man” is the Messiah, also known as Jesus. (1) Because the word clearly means "person" in the context, The term "Son of Man" is usually used to refer to Jesus Christ. Jesus also referred to himself as the "Son of Man" in the New Testament. (2) This "Son of Man" is endowed with the nature of God in this article, He came with a cloud. Coming with the clouds means that He came on the clouds, This is a description, Refers to him as God; He is God and came with clouds, Therefore He has divinity in it. (3) "All the earth shall serve him", This term is only for Jesus Christ; No one is worthy of the service of all the people of the world except Jesus Christ. So, when Jesus died, rose again, and ascended to heaven, Ten thousand knees will bow down, ten thousand mouths will praise. This "Son of Man" accepts such worship, which means that He is Jesus. (4) Outside the Bible, in Jewish titles, "Son of Man" also refers to Messiah, That is, "Son of Man" is the code name of the Messiah among the Jews. (5) Jesus Christ quotes from the Book of Daniel, As support for one's own mission and work; He is letting us know that Daniel is speaking about Jesus Christ. (6) The disciple John also applies the term "Son of Man" to Jesus Christ. So we can safely say that The "Son of Man" seen in the Book of Daniel, It is Jesus Christ who appeared in the Old Testament. This "Son of Man" is the same as the fourth figure who appeared in the fiery furnace. This is the appearance of Jesus in the Old Testament times. In Daniel's vision, All nations and nations are symbolized by beasts, But it is “man” who finally gains the kingdom and the authority of the eternal kingdom, Just in contrast. He is not the "horn", the "horn" refers to the king of the earth, The little "horn" is the most evil Antichrist; But Jesus Christ was a man, not a beast. This is to express that Jesus Christ came in the clouds of heaven. What did he get in the kingdom of God before he came? See Daniel 7:14: 『14 received power, glory, and kingdom, that all nations, nations, and tribes may serve him. His authority is eternal and cannot be abolished; His kingdom shall not be destroyed. 』 This is the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us the "Lord's Prayer" as follows: "Thy kingdom come;..." Finally, it ends with "Because the kingdom, the power, and the glory are all yours,..." Jesus Christ received this glorious authority, He will have the kingdom. Do you remember a parable Jesus told in Luke 19:12-15? Christ is likened to a nobleman who goes to a far country to return to his kingdom. Also, what did the thief on the cross say to Jesus? "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom!" ’ (Luke 23:42) When will Jesus Christ come into the kingdom? When will this scene happen? This scene is actually when Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, He has taken authority; So He said, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth." It's just that this country is now a spiritual situation, Nothing specific has come yet. But in the future, when the little horn of the fourth beast appears, And when the whole of human history comes to an end, Jesus Christ came from heaven, That is His kingdom coming. Thank God, this is the eternal hope of Christians; In the future we will be in this kingdom, What a glorious thing this is. In the future we will see Jesus Christ gaining the kingdom, Then establish his eternal kingdom on earth. We thank God. So I used to explain, Do not use the term "Christian nation" casually; There are no "Christian countries" in the world, no. There is no kingdom of Christ in the world, The world is a country of people. At its most godly, America was a nation of men. People used to say America is a Christian country, Because their knowledge of the Bible is not clear. If your knowledge of the Bible is clear, You will know that Jesus told Pilate, His kingdom is not in this world. Jesus said that his kingdom will receive authority from heaven, Then He came to earth. The kingdom on earth is the kingdom of man. The kingdom of man will end at last, Will be ruled by the little horn and end up against God. Then God with his host, angels, and sons and daughters, Come to the kingdom established on earth, That is the real kingdom of Christ. Understand? Therefore, even if a very godly person is the president of a country today, He wants to govern in the spirit of Christianity, This country is not the kingdom of Christ. This country is only governed with the spirit of Christ, But the real kingdom of Christ came down from heaven. I hope you can understand. So we ask the Lord to enable us to understand and discern. The next section of verses 15-27 is the angel's explanation of the vision. refer to�Daniel 7:15-16: 『15 As for me, Daniel, my spirit is troubled within me, The visions in my head terrified me. 16 I approached one of the attendants and asked him the truth of all this. He told me and explained to me what happened. 』 Daniel's vision of four beasts has not been explained, He saw the Ancient of Days in heaven; Seeing that the Son of Man has gained the kingdom, See the little horn judged, But he was still panicked, Not sure what exactly these are? Why was Daniel terrified? Because Daniel knew that every vision would eventually be fulfilled. He once interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dreams, He knew that when the tree in King Nebuchadnezzar's dream was cut down, The king will eat grass like an ox, And that's exactly what happened. So he knew that every vision would come true. So he was dismayed, Don't know what exactly you're seeing? How will they affect the development of history? So he really wanted someone to explain it to him. He was near a waiter, The angels who stood there explained to him all these things. Daniel was anxious and troubled, not understanding the meaning of the vision, So he asked the angel standing next to him about the meaning of the vision. The angel's explanation has two important points: The first emphasis is on Daniel 7:17: 『17 These four great beasts are the four kings that will rise up in the world. 』 What we have explained before is actually based on this verse as the key, Because the angel explained that the four great beasts are four kings: Kings of Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece, And the king of Rome will be raised up. These four beasts and four kings will arise on earth, The rise here means "will" rise up, This "will" is an incomplete verb. You stand in the time of Daniel, He's looking forward, Indicates that those things have not been completed at that time. But today we have passed two thousand years, we look back, Have the four empires passed away? It's all over, The four empires have passed away, It's just that the continuation of the kingdom of the fourth beast hasn't happened yet. Later we will explain why there is this pause, Why didn't it happen directly. There is a timetable in the Book of Daniel for us to see more clearly. I know that you may be confused at this time, and your head is already a mess; You may not know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't worry, be patient, The teaching of prophecy is not clear after one hearing, Listen again; the more you listen, the more clearly you will understand the order more and more. why? Because in the end when we put it all together, You know how it relates to the Apocalypse. Because some events will continue in Revelation, You'll see the whole picture. Now you first know that through the ages and ages, the nations in history are still rising, Until the rise of the last ten kings. When the ten kings arise, That's a very important mark, Slowly we will understand. This is the first point. For the second important point, refer to "Daniel 7:18": 『18 However, the saints of the Most High shall enjoy the kingdom forever and ever. 』 According to the scriptures, one is a kingdom on earth and the other is a kingdom in heaven. The kingdom of heaven is God's chosen people, who will enjoy it in the kingdom of heaven forever. The kings and governments of the world shall pass away, But the kingdom of the Most High endures forever. Here are two kingdoms, The seventh chapter is about two kingdoms. Which country are you in now? which one? Are you not in the kingdom of man? Not in the kingdom of heaven? Where are you then? Actually now you are in the kingdom of man, But what country do you belong to? Kingdom of heaven. Spiritually, you are already in the kingdom of heaven; But you are still in the kingdom of men, The kingdom of man will pass away. We will enter into the eternal kingdom of God in the future. So you are a citizen of heaven, and you are a citizen of earth. That's what we hold. But we know the kingdoms of the earth, Although the rebellion of the wicked and the tyranny of the last age may reign for a while, But it will end soon. The world will return to its rightful master-the Lord. He will share this world with the saints (all his children). This is a preliminary explanation, Then, the angel went on to give a more detailed explanation. As for the description of the true feelings of the fourth beast,�In chapter 7, verses 19-22. See Daniel 7:19: 『19 Then I would like to know the truth about the fourth beast, Why is it so different from the true feelings of the three beasts, Terrible, having iron teeth and bronze claws, devouring and chewing, and trampling what remains;' This passage describes Daniel's emphasis on the fourth beast, Because he knew that was the point. At that time he had a doubt, he wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, That's why the fourth beast is so different from the previous three. I explained, and asked this question before the end of last week: Why is the fourth beast not symbolized by beasts of the earth? What was the first beast used for? lion. What is the second beast for? Bear. What is the third beast for? Leopard. What is the fourth beast for? Ten horns, one head. Is there such a beast? Ever seen it in a zoo? Have you seen it in the National Geographic Society documentary? No. Does it exist on the ground? No. So this beast is different from other beasts, What does that mean? Indicates that in nature, there is no animal that can be compared to this monster, Unlike the first three beasts are comparable. What is the reason? The reason is that the first three beasts symbolize a single period of imperial hegemony that has appeared in history; Like Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece. But the fourth beast is a symbol of Rome that has appeared in history, But it's not Rome, And the hegemony of the doomsday empire that will emerge. Turns out it has a mix, One is a kingdom that will appear then, But it is a kingdom that will be realized in the future that has been extended. So it cannot be represented by a lion, It's not what a bear can represent, It is not represented by a leopard; It's a combination, Because it symbolizes a wide range of periods and events. This country is different from the former, It can swallow up the whole earth, In terms of territory and territory, it is better than the first three countries; And the imperial hegemony of the fourth beast is universal. So remember! It is this world that the antichrist will rule in the future. It's not to rule over little Europe, Or that little Middle Eastern region; It wants to rule the world. So this beast represents an empire that will rule the world in the end. The Roman Empire is only the rudiment of the fourth beast, Just a pattern, To add the ten kingdoms that follow, It is the whole of the beast. Since this kingdom is at the head, That head is associated with the Roman Empire; So it will appear on the map of the Roman Empire. So the EU is the current European Community, The European Union, known as the European Union, It was established on the common territory of the Roman Empire at that time. Very likely, if someone can mutate the European Union, And influence words, It is quite possible that this is what we call "the ten horns on the head". By far the most likely, that refers to the European Union. As for the actual situation? We don't know, We have to wait and see. But this is present, if according to the revelation of the whole prophecy, The movement of this is most likely? Currently, this is the case. Why doesn't the fourth beast use a single body? Because it doesn't just refer to the Roman Empire, The Roman Empire has also passed away; It refers to the country that will rise after the Roman Empire. There may be a lot going on about Europe one day, There are many problems in Europe, or political changes in Europe. But is it just Europe? No, there are other countries. See Daniel 7:20: 『20 The head had ten horns and the other horn that was longer, There is a triangle knocked down by it in front of this corner. 』 We just talked about it, "This horn had eyes, and a mouth that spoke great things, and its form was stronger than its kind. 』 What do the ten horns on this head represent? Ten kings, the angel has explained. The head of the fourth beast, the Roman Empire, Ten horns on the head, That is, the ten countries and ten kings in the territory of the Roman Empire. This has not been seen before, It is definitely possible in the future. The European Union alone has more than ten countries. If she has ten nations united, She will be strong. In the end, how she changed, we don't know. She might kick Greece out, Kicked her out because they were poor and lazy; it is possible� But now for some reason, they pull together. But it is also possible that she is not necessarily ten countries, but a union. It is possible that the Antichrist will emerge from one of these countries, Then subdue other nations, submit to his authority. How does the political situation in the world change, We can't see it now, But it is possible for such variations. This little horn represents the last king, After he appeared, he carried out four aspects of destruction. Just now we have also talked about the destruction in four aspects. The first to destroy, he will subdue three of the ten kings; So he cut off their horns. Perhaps these three kings rebelled against his rule, but under his dominion. The shadows of these three countries have appeared in history, That is Syria, Egypt, and Mesopotamia. At that time Rome defeated them. But the entity has not yet appeared. The end of the Bible calls the Syrian entity the king of the north; The Egyptian entity is called the King of the South; The entities of Mesopotamia are called the kings of the east. These three plus the little horn, It constitutes a great force. These three kingdoms may betray him, So he eliminated the three kingdoms. The remaining seven kingdoms are under his rule, Similar to what Hitler did to Norway, Holland, Hungary and the Baltic countries, subdued under his tyranny. This is very similar to the situation when Hitler ruled the whole of Europe at that time. That's the first thing he does, It is to subdue the three kings among them. The second thing, he speaks exaggerated things to God Most High. "Exaggerated words" can be translated as "against words" in the original text, Meaning "exalt yourself to be equal with God", He calls himself God, And he was going to challenge God. Thirdly, he will torment the saints of the Most High. The original meaning of "torture" is "to make old", For example, clothes are worn out and become tattered, tools are damaged due to excessive use, This signifies the long oppression of God's saints, torment them. The fourth destruction intends to change the "law of the festivals". He will change the law, including the law of the universe, Including the moral law governing the world and Israel; He will change the festivals (seasons) and laws; That is, the center of Israel's religious life is also God's privilege to manage the world; In other words, he will overthrow God's administration, To change the law is to change the Word of God. When you read Catholic teaching, Catholics place the second of the Ten Commandments, The first is that you shall have no other gods before me; The second article, God said: "You shall not carve an image for yourself", These images cannot be worshipped. If you read Catholic regulations, The second of the Ten Commandments is missing. And split the last (tenth) commandment into two, And make up the Ten Commandments. So the Catholic Ten Commandments are different from ours, There is no mention of not worshiping idols. why is that? Because the Catholic Church has idols, So they worship idols. This is in the middle of historical development, They amend the law of God, That's what I mean. So in the future Antichrist will rule the Jews, He will amend the law of the Jews. To amend the law is to overthrow God's administration. As a result, the saints were tortured by him for one year, two years, and half a year. This "set" in "Daniel" means "year", So he will rule the Jews for three and a half years. When you hear three and a half years, You will be reminded of the seven years of disaster in the Book of Revelation. And remember that the Book of Revelation has 1260 days, After these events come slowly, Combine the events and you get the idea. Simply put, when the Antichrist rises, If we read the Bible and believe that the Bible refers to the pre-tribulation rapture; When the Antichrist rises, Believers have basically been raptured. After that great tribulation, that is, after the great earthquake, Only the Jews remained on earth. So now if the Antichrist is going to rule the world, He must be able to convince the Jews. Was he able to convince the Jews? have. He will convince the Jews. But after he persuaded the Jews, He was reconciled to them in the beginning, Then he turned against each other, Then torture them for three and a half years, This is the last three and a half years. But halfway through, The Antichrist will enter the temple saying: "I am God, and you shall worship Me." Will the Jews worship him? of course not. So he started persecuting the Jews. This is what the Antichrist will do. That's what it says here: "The saints will be handed over to him for a time, for two years, and for half a time." See Daniel 7:21: 『21 I looked and saw that the horn fought against the saints and defeated them. 』 "Overcome them" means that the Antichrist has overpowered them; At first they were persuaded, but later they were suppressed. So the "I beheld" in verse 21 is Daniel seeing for the tenth time. Daniel saw that the little kingdom of the fourth beast fought against the holy people (Israelites) and defeated them. See Daniel 7:22: 『22 Until the Ancient of Days comes to avenge the saints of the Most High, The time has come for the saints to take over the kingdom. 』 It can be seen that in the last three and a half years, The Jews suffered great persecution. When the persecution reaches a point where they cannot bear it, They will pray and call out to God, What do you want? Ask the Messiah to come and save them. At this time, God's time has come, The Ancient of Days will intervene. When God intervenes at this time, it is God descending from heaven; That is the coming of Jesus Christ in Revelation, Then the history of mankind ended and the kingdom of God began. This last prophecy of Daniel is related to the final stage of history. According to history and end-time revelation, The Rome of the Fourth Beast can be divided into three phases: The first, the "phase of the beast", has been historically completed (cf. 7:23), That was the historical Roman Empire. The second stage: "Ten Angle Stage", It is the alliance of ten countries in the future. Now there are clues, but it is not very clear; It may very well be the European Community as we see it today. But we are not yet sure and absolutely sure, But we continue to observe the development of the whole incident. The third stage is the "small horn stage", The Antichrist will rise to power. Why is he called the Antichrist? In fact, he is just like Christ, But he is the opposite. You look like he is right, but in fact he is wrong; You may see him as Christ, but he is actually Satan. Therefore, this little horn will rise up to rule the world. So this is the final stage of the little horn's development. See Daniel 7:23-24: 『23 This is what the waiter said: The fourth beast is the fourth kingdom that must exist in the world, It will be different from all nations, and it will devour the whole earth, and it will trample and chew it to pieces. 24 As for the ten horns, the ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom, Then there will arise a king different from the first; he will subdue the three kings. 』 You already know what the scriptures are saying. See Daniel 7:25: 『25 He will speak great things against the Most High, The saints of the Most High will be tormented, and the festivals and laws will be changed. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, for two years, for half a time. 』 We have already explained this passage, and now we are just reading this passage. Antichrist is characterized by resisting God and claiming to be God, While persecuting God's chosen people. The whole time the Israelites were in tribulation, They are persecuted by the Antichrist, Especially in the second half of the seven-year tribulation. Make the victims as many as two-thirds; So most people are persecuted. For the ending of the fourth beast, refer to "Daniel 7:26-27": 『26 Yet the Judge shall sit and judge; His dominion shall be taken away, destroyed, and destroyed, to the end. 』 what did you see? You see Judgment coming and that is the end of human history. Remember the great image in King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, which was crushed by a stone from outside? When God's time is fulfilled, God intervenes as Judge, Take away and destroy the power of the little horn. The end of all human history is recorded in verse 27: 『27 The kingdom, the dominion, and the great power of the kingdoms of the world shall be given to the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is eternal; and all power shall serve him and obey him. 』 So finally history ends, We enter into the kingdom of God. This accomplishes what we are studying here today, The study of human history; All of this will come true in the future. So the promise that God has prepared and established for His children, to their eternal kingdomdegrees, One day we will definitely see. The most important thing is that you must go in, And you want to make sure you can get in; That's in Jesus Christ, through Jesus Christ. See Daniel 7:28: 『28 That is over. As for me—Daniel, I was terrified in my heart, and my countenance changed, But keep that in mind. 』 What Daniel saw, He knew that God would do what he said.
